Organic, Medicinal and Biological Chemistry: A Strategic Partnership for a Healthier Future
The Divisions of Organic Chemistry and of Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) are delighted to invite you to the 16th National Organic Chemistry Meeting (16ENQO) and the 9th National Medicinal and Biological Chemistry Meeting (9ENQMB), which will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, from 11 to 13 February 2026.
The ability to synthesise increasingly complex molecules has transformed Organic Chemistry into a fundamental science, further advanced through Medicinal and Biological Chemistry to address biological problems associated with human diseases.
At this unique and dynamic scientific interface, the 16ENQO & 9ENQMB will present an exciting multidisciplinary scientific programme, bringing together national and international experts. The event will feature a wide range of contributions, from the development of new synthetic methodologies to the design of molecules and complexes aimed at elucidating and modulating biological mechanisms underlying human diseases.
